Sarah Grace

Sarah Grace uses her background in teaching to help identify, create and implement personalized organizing solutions for clients of In Order to Succeed®. As a third grade teacher, and then later as a special education teacher, Sarah developed individualized solutions to meet the varied needs of her students. Just as all students learn differently and require different supports, no two people or projects require the same organizational solutions. Now, as a Certified Professional Organizer®, Sarah enjoys applying the creativity and attention to detail that made her successful in the classroom, to transform cluttered and mismanaged areas into highly functional and beautiful spaces.

A native of Rochester New York, Sarah came to New York City to obtain a graduate degree from Columbia University’s Teachers College. Amy Macartney

An experienced organizer Amy finds every aspect of her work at In Order to Succeed rewarding. From behind the scenes planning to executing plans on site to on the fly problem solving, Amy loves creating order where there is none and making spaces and processes beautiful. She especially enjoys the challenge of complicated, long-term projects such as helping families transition from one home to the next. Many times these transitions whether due to a permanent move or seasonal one involve factoring in the ages of family members, hobbies, seasons, pets, and moving sensitive art and vehicles. Amy is skilled at creating calendar sand schedules for necessary routine household maintenance, inventorying items for storage, overseeing the consignment of personal items no longer needed and other necessary detail sensitive tasks. The more puzzle pieces, the more clients need help, and the more her expertise makes transitions go smoothly.

A National Association of Productivity and Organizing (NAPO) member, each of Amy’s professional experiences has refined her ability to be a capable organizer that approaches every project with the utmost professionalism. At American Express she managed in house advertising accounts while at Levi Strauss she honed her efficiency skills while overseeing strategic project management. At Stanford University she worked in The School of Education and at Ross Bread & Coffee she put her design skills to the test helping to design and layout an efficient commercial kitchen space.

As the mother of four children who she moved into eight different homes, Amy knows first-hand how important it is to be sensitive to children and families during times of transition. Amy will often remind clients, “We are not just moving you into a house. We are moving you into your Home. Let’s be sure to keep this in mind so we can create moments big and small that tell your story, bring you joy, and make your day-to-day life a little less stressful.”
